Halion with no Hassle

I know halion is a sampler, but I never got around to using it, or finding out how useful it can be. If I did use it I would be using it as a vst. What can it do? or what things is it good for?

its a softsampler, ala kontakt/gigasampler/sampletank.

i have it but i dont really use it. its a bit of a chore to load samples into it. it doesnt seem to have much in the way of effects or anything like that. it isnt good for much to me, i would get sampletank2 for the cost of halion.

the one hting halion does do is import emu files, which isnt a regular feature in most softsamplers.

Yes sample tank is nice, and I only have the free version and it's still a weapon. Just needed to know if I was missing out on something. Thankx

nope. you arent missing a thing, unless you want to use an emu library.
