Do you use them?
Which ones do you use?
And...How do you use them?
I've been using them off and on for a minute. Lately I've been using them more, mainly on synthesizers and occasionally on percussive instruments. I find that it's a definite way to give your synths a distinct sound that can't be duplicated unless the listener knows what you used and how you used it! Makes for some pretty sick change ups imo. I feel it's a great way to beef up or change up any stock synth samples or sounds that you might use.
I started out with iZotopes Stutter. Pretty nice presets that you can alter a bit to make them your own.
I also made a couple with diff't effects within Ableton.
Here are a couple others I use which are FREE!
1) FIRE
2) LiveCut
U can get the first two here: http://mdsp.smartelectronix.com/
3) SupaTrigga http://bram.smartelectronix.com/plugins.php?id=6
4) Glitch http://illformed.org/plugins/glitch/
