you wanna learn how to play guitar, may i then suggest that you start off with a (not so expensive) nylon acoustic (spanish). The strings are light, very helpful in the beginning. you dont have to press down all the strings as hard to play to be able to play a chord without loud buzzes and strings not being struck right. They have these verywhere , in any music store that sells some guitars or you can find em even secondhand in the papers. You will have a guitar you can start learning on for maybe less than 50 bucks (they have nice expensive spanish ones too, but why buy something expensive right away when you dont even know for sure if you are gonna stick to it).
You start off with a western acoustic (very hard strung tight metal strings) or electric (very thin wiry hard strung metal strings), the western will have imo a nicer sound than the spanish, but you will get frustrated easy because you have to push down on the strings mad hard. Most electric guitars also play lighter than western acoustics, some play very light, but the strings are thinner and also metal, so in both cases if you start off on metal strings and your fingertips aint used to playing guitar you prolly wont be able to play for very long before your fingers hurt too much.
Just some advice for anyone thinking of starting to learn guitar.
