Underneath the beat under the drums and everything what is used for the click effect you hear it in most tracks are those Hi-hats Tambourines ? and it sounds to me my drums are going a lil to quick to get the true hip-hop effect anyway how can you slow them down without the tempo or is it possible ? i normally always keep the tempo at 90. yeah they are generally hi-hats or sometimes shakers (or other percussion).

yeah tempo of 90 should be fine as far as your snares. program a snare at 5 and 13 then adjust the tempo to see what type of speed you want. Try tempos from 70 - 100 bpms.

aye yo Marvel, it seems like ur still learing the basics so here's a couple of tips for ya:

1. download and read the manual www.flstudio.com

2. I highly recommend buying FLStudio (producer edition) if you haven't done so already. This gives you access to their forums and a whole lot of samples from Sample Fusion.

3. practice. if u have any questions, do a search or check the manual. Try to answer your easier questions yourself as it helps you to learn. If you are still stuck post your questions up here.
