It's like recycle only easier to use and then u can transport ur sliced sample back in to a fruity slicer channel and the chops are spreak across the keys on the keyboard or pads of the MPC or MPD..
FL Slicer is pretty damn easy.... imo..... the easiest thing to use when chopping/sampling..... u can load in any audio and chop it up..... wav mp3 anything
you basically open a new fruity slicer, then open up a sample in it, and just go to then in the channel window go down to open beat slicer and just place the markers where you want them, you can really freak the fuck out a sample using fl slicer, and it is easy, it would be worth learning for sure................
The Beat Slicer slices a loop or any kind of sample you put in, cutting each "sounds" individually (actually, it really cuts depending on the hi and low thresholds that you can adjust...) After the sample has been cut, the slices are spread out on different notes. That way, you can play the slices in the order you desire.
You can stretch, reverse and change the enveloppe the slices. And if you want different slices than the ones given by default, you can use another lil program (Beat Slicer) where you can change the slices with more precision...
So, it's sort of like a sound editor, but it's specifically to slice a sample...
yeah, i'm fuckin wit it now,,,dope shit. I havnt done anything major, but we'll see in the beat this comp,,lol,,thanks yall,,keep ya tips comin in this thread,,I need to learn

u can also reverse samples in the slicer pretty handy and besides melodies you should also load in drumloops, real easy to fuck with em..
have fun son!
If you sample two bars or something. Chop it up in to invidual beats, 1/2 beats etc with the FL Slicer. Play on your controller, and you'll be flippin' crazy stuff in no time!
