I will say after reading P-1 and relistening to the beat by flip.. it's really not all that bad but considering the circumstances it's hard not to be biased. No matter the skill a bitch is a bitch

Yo honestly, I can't STAND IT. I've had people say I "bit them" before on false grounds too, so I completely understand what you're goin thru dawg. I've even had a group try and dis my group, and call us out, when we didn't even know this group EXISTED. Then we threw a battle track about them on our album that sold to the entire town back in 99 and put em on blast. Yea, everybody knew who they were then, and they retired from the game completely after that cuz it was a joke.

It's hard to ignore, I know. You wanna say shit like "yea, yea, you're right... shut up... I bit you" just to placate the fuckers because you know better. But when they come so hard with some BULLSHIT like that, how can you try to be the "better man"? I noticed in your replies to the kid that you were trying to save face for him so that he wouldn't have fell so badly, but it was INEVITABLE that he was gonna fall flat on his face. I mean, c'mon... a little goldfish plays with the sharks, and it's bound to happen, right?

^^^ its a preference. im not saying what he did was right but i just felt like the beat was constructed better. a lot more dirtier though. nomics' sounds a lot cleaner but there's that offkey sound that turns me off about it. but...like i said, its my preference. i aint tryna start a war.

this is funny ass thread ..... OBVIOUSLY this clown has gone over his head .. lets look at this logically

1) the beats sound diffrent so there can be no lawsuit
2) neither beat has been sold or released so there can be no lawsuit
3) people use the same samples all the time... in fact like half the shit I hear ive heard a beat with the same sample lol
4) ive been to my nigga nomics studio his vinly collection is off the chain.. and the boy has skillz, a street buzz, and a rep that goes outside these little internet forums

6) if your in the "game" why the fuc you got a soundclick page that ur tryin to sell beats of?

I hear u... I ain't startin nothin either, just curious about your preference. (Everyone's entitled to their own preference) You're right: sometimes grungier is better, and I'd agree to that most of the time. In this case (my opinion, not trying to bash dude or anything) I hear it sounding much more elementary than what he claims it to be. He makes himself appear to be this big producer or something, that's all. Nomics, on the other hand, just keeps makin fire and does his thing without boasting. I mean... he does show off a bit so people can hear, but so do I. The thing is: I wouldn't try to beef with someone who used the same sample as I did, and explain that my shit was better. Even if it WAS better, that shit doesn't matter. It's good sportsmanship to just say "Good shit on that sample... I used the same one, peep mine and tell me what you think."

Basically, I would have thought his beat was better than it was, had I not read what he wrote about it to Nomics. I still would have thought that Nomic's beat was better constructed and that Nomics has a sturdier background in knowing what he was doing (not just cuz that fact that he's my boy, just as a professional critique from one to another).

ANYwhoo, to me we're all the same damn person any damn way, and we should support each other instead of comin up with beef for no reason. It doesn't matter much that I lost respect for someone, as I didn't know dude in the first place. But to anyone else who comes at someone with that same accusation, I just feel pity for them, as I feel for the other dude who made that beat, and they'll lose the same amount of respect from me (and other people) not only as an artist, but as a person in general. And my respect doesn't amount to much anyway, if someone doesn't know me. Jus that I would never work with someone like that and know better who to avoid in the future.

Nomics version was better...period.

But I think the guy has lost his mind by calling him out because they both flipped the sample differently...used differently drums. Chooped it up differently. How are you going to look past that? A straight jack is when you just STEAL another's person's beat without changing anything and just claimed that it was yours...obviously I don't think Nomics is a person that would do that. He's one of the better producers here and he's proved himself...there's no reason for him to jack beats. Fuck this shit.

It dont matter who's version is better, even if nomic;s version was shit and flipsoulfish was on the just blaze shit, it still dont change the way flipsoulfisha went about clamining Nom jacked his shit. thats just some bitch ass lame ass shit. wow, i never thought this would of gotten this many reviews...

i appreciate everyone who took da time to read da facts n understand what exactly hapened here. im overwhelmed by the amount of people who took my side in the situation. i personally feel that i did nothin wrong n was bein accused of somethin that was absurd. on a final note, i feel that flip was basically jus mad that someone flipped da same sample at da same level if not better than his. what he needs to realize is that he is not the only producer in this world. my reasoning behind not tellin him da name of da sample is because i dont have to tell him anything. he knows where the sample is from. i know where the sample is from. i dont feel a need in tellin him somethin he already knows. its not everyday i see somethin like dat in my email let alone a pm. that was the only reason y it was posted. again i thank everyone who took the time to be a part of this discussion.

if u wan close this stress or fade, i think now is a good time.
