I can never find that perfect bass on fruity loops. So I was wondering what yall use and how do you tweek it to get that ill sounding bass. All them fruity loop pros holla back.
what version of FL u have??
hammersound.net has some pretty decent soundfonts
i also have a sub type bass with loop points i can send you, its pretty good, and its in C, so you just drop it in FL and change the notes with no problem
I got vesion 3.4 so hook it up wit those sounds and good lookin out with that site.
I know theres a lot more people that know about fruity loops so hit a nigga up with some sounds or some tips. Also do you guys mostly use
preset basses that come with friutly loops?? if so how do you usually tweek them. Theres so many knobs and shit on FL do any of yall think you mastered them?
i dont use any sound in FL, they suck! simply search for samples on the net, there are so many sites with good drum samples, ect on the net, you will be amazed if you are WILLING to look!
yea i know its just a matter of having the patience to search for sum good sites. but most of the time they want you to buy something. its rare u find a site with free sounds.
I have over 2,500 sounds from the net and sampling cd's.
U can check out www.soundcrafting.com they are giving some free cd's.Better get it before they change their mind.I just got mine in yesterday,it don't take long.
I use fruity loops 3.56 and I love it. it is my main sequencer.
I never use the standard fruity sounds, they are really bad.
I always use samples, taken from the net or sampled myself from old records or something. I can use anything.
soft synth's are also cool to use.
than you can make your own sounds.
Hey I can make anything i want in Fruity Loops, so I'll give a few tip fo my niggas
1.)Download Soundfonts
2.)Make you own samples from Drum Machines like MPC 2000 XL,MPC 4000 XL, Korg Drum Machines, Roland Drum Machines and other drum machines. I have about 9-10 differ drum machines.
just use wav samples, they are the best quality and you can do what you want with it (fx) and save it.
just go to options/file settings, there you can select the part in you computer where you keep your samples and they will appear in your fruity file browser under samples. very easy.
real sounding bass like a bass guitar try out the edirol super qurtet vsti graet bass and drums in that one.
synth basses go for the moog modular vsti v station vsti is good i get some good sub bass sounds with that. novation bass staion vsti very simple synth simple sounds but can get some good stuff for hip hop basslines but its not at the top of the list. string sounds go for the edirol orchestral vsti great strings piano brass and great bass strings.
even have a look at the wasp that comes with fruity there was a remix of timberlands try again using the wasp to make the rubber duck bass line, the preset is thin saws and then just add effects over it like flanger pan ect ect. but then nothing will beat if want that reall bass sound than to play it your self with a bass guitar and record a loop on to your computer.
yo all you gotta do is get one of your dogs to hook you up with a sampled bass off a sound module or keyboard, then bring it into fruity, tighten the volume envelope up , and push the velocity to 100. that motherfucker will bump like no other.
I never fuck wit samples outta fruity loops, but if i had to. I"d get FRuity Loops Studio 4 , its floating around on the net...it has no samples in it but a nice plugin called Boo Bass, i've used it a few times it pretty clean and you can EQ however u want
