Firefox Help...

EZ guys... So I've just turned on the PC, opened my bookmarks and guess what, they're all gone. How could this happen, and more importantly, is there a way to get them back, had some pretty important university shit on there...

PS, not sure if it matters, but the forums I go on don't remember my name or password...

ive had the same problem twice kind of annoying, so i switched to opera, dont know how too get them back though..

Also - You'll find backups of your bookmarks in:

C:\Documents and Settings\'your name'\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\'some characters'.default\bookmarkbackups
They appear to be backed up daily.

I use http://del.icio.us/ for bookmarks, there is a firefox extension for it. WAY better than traditional bookmarks.
