Hahahaha this is a great thread. Thanks to everyone for posting these mushy messages, I appreciate it.
Here's what happened:
-Got up in the morning.
-Put on my jogging clothes and went out right away.
-Started jogging on the sidewalk, went up a slight hill near this condo, BAM patch of ice.
-I landed kind of like in a baseball slide, with my right leg under me, but the ankle went the other way and I heard a loud CRACK.
I didn't cry! Can you believe it? Thinking about it now, I didn't think twice about it, I just stood up and all I was thinking about was how I was going to get home. So I managed to limp + hop home, with my foot almost hanging there! Ewww.
Anyway, it took so long because of this wonderful medical system we have here. I was waiting and waiting and waiting every day, and I had to fast (no food, no water) each of those days. So I was starving, weak, etc. Finally Monday night at around 6:30 they came to get me and the put a needle in my back to freeze my legs, it was awesome! Hahaha then they gave me some kind of drug that totally knocked me out, I don't remember passing out, I just remember waking up in the recovery room.
There were a few cute nurses but nothing special. I was hoping for something to happen to me like in that old porno movie "Genital Hospital". Ah well.
They gave me lots of drugs which if anything, made me very sleepy. The few times I did get to eat the food was horrible! But I was so hungry I just wanted to eat something.
Right now I have a cast on and it's all swollen so I'm still in pain, slowly getting back on my computer. I won't be on all day, just for a bit at a time. So hopefully I can get the competition going and start the pre-ordering of the shirts.
Hey, nobody sent me flowers???
