You cannot go wrong with Eric B. & Rakim. The beats on this album were sick and gutter, plus Rakim's voice - I don't need to say anything. One of my favorite albums from back in the day. I felt all cool when I was listening to this because my friends had the "popular" Rap music, and here I come with some new, darker shit. Wooooooooo.
