there are some plugins that come with samplitude (the latest version) that are awesome sounding...I can't remember the names just do a search for the plugs that come with samplitude..You might be able to get them separately since you already have your DAW of choice. Voxengo has some really nice plugins, take your pick as they have a bunch...For some really crazy but innovative plugs try this company http://www.ohmforce.com/

you might already have the UAD-1 or maybe not but the Neve emulations plugins are the bomb..I have heard them but I plan on getting the UAD-1 soon..

yea.....I've had it for a minute but didn't really mess with it til I caught an article on how it's the "go to plugin" of the big boyz when it comes to hip hop vocals. Everything's right there so you don't go searching for other stuff. Like I said, add some reverd and a nice warm tube if you're mixing a singers vocals (may be use a little Auto Tune) on your hook and you'll probably like what you come out with.

Yo peep game though. Try this....any plugin with a vocal presence setting, use it on the lead vocals. Don't put it on the chorus or background. It will by itself, bring the leads forward in the mix. If u got some good monitors you'll notice a big big deference.
