I've decided to buy a MIDI keyboard. I got an option of either buying a brand new one from local stores, cheapest one is US$200. Thats an Evolution one.

Second option is buying something of e-bay, I've found keyboards for US$50-$70 and I'd purchase them today if I could, but I'm too chicken to do business over the net, especially when the otehr seller is international. I don't need anything proffesional, just a basic MIDI controller that I can use to play the piano roll in Cubase or Reason for example.

What is your advice on shopping on e-bay, would u recommend it and what pre-cautions to take.

Thanks in advance!

P.S Anyone in Australia on here that is looking to sell a MIDI keyboard for under AU$200, get at me too!

I look at the number of feedbacks, I wont buy stuff from a seller unless they have at least 15 or 20 feedbacks with a high percentage of positives, and I only deal with the ones that have the real picture, not a paste from the website. Make sure you tell them you want a signature required on your delivery. If the price is to good to be true , it is. I almost got had. BUt don't buy shit from "ninerfazz" or james Shaw.
