Drumpad settings

Am new 2 the site and just wanted 2 know what layout systems ya´ll got on your drum pads. 4 those that got them drum machines. How ya´ll set up your kicks, snares and all?

on the mpc, my kits have 16 kicks on bank a, 16 snares on bank b, 16 hats on bank c, and 16 random percussion elements on d.

I have one program dedicated to drums, and I use a seperate program for whatever samples im triggering.

on my 1k i have pads 1-4 with drums, 5-8 with snares, 9-12 with hats, 13-16 with crashes or some other sound, and wutever i'm sampling on the other banks...
