drum sounds not working in mpc 1000 (SAMPLE RATE MAYBE)???

Can anyone tell me why some of my drum sounds do not work in my mpc 1000 they all are 16mb .wav or what to do to get ALL of my drum sounds to work in my mpc 1000. because I have kits where some sounds will work and some wont...anyonw know why???

How do I fix the ones that are not working?? I dont want to have to fix each sound one by one....

MUCH HELP WILL BE APPRICIATED!!!!...

It may have to do with file names. change one and see if it works.

audio sample size: 16 bit
channels: 2 (stereo)
audio sample rate: 44 kHz
audio format: PCM

the channel can be stereo or mono and PCM is a .wav file.

it has to be at the sample rate 44.1Hkz 16 bit

check the sample rate of those kits some can be 24 it has to be 16 bits not 16mb

maybe you have some mp3s on there, if so chnage them to wavs, also if a file name is too long that can do it , I have some too that just wont do right.
