The problem is that i use cubase and im familliar with it, im trying to find something to chop my samples put them in the pads and play them nothing else nothing more...Actually I didn't know Battery was still around! It was a good program from what I remember.
What about FL Studio?
Its such a pain in the ass to find something gooddefinitely start with the free ones.
I had a bunch when i first started out. they are all basically the same, just different components.
Peace!
Edit:
your talking about sampler softwares aye? haha my bad
When i tried grabbing my chops from the editor to grove agent one it just would drop them and it doesnt work maybe it is because ive cracked it but i really need something to use right now and battery seems good enoughThey updated Battery not long ago and it is just fantastic. I use it all the time. Check out the update https://www.native-instruments.com/en/products/komplete/drums/battery-4/new-in-battery-4/
As far as the OPs question why not use what you already have in Cubase? Cubase comes with groove agent http://www.steinberg.net/en/products/vst/groove_agent/why_groove_agent.html and it is awesome. And cubase is just such a great editor.
Thnx brotha that actually helpedWell I think it was Battery I used years ago when I had the Akai MPD controller. There was also https://www.fxpansion.com/products/bfd3/ that I used but I wasn't crazy about it. Battery should do the trick though. Check the search page too https://www.illmuzik.com/search/?type=post, there's some good results for Battery.
