Some pretty serious timing issues on pretty much every element. Just make sure you pay attention to the timing of the original. Or better yet the original song by Leon Haywood. And if you're going to upload 3 beats, maybe give some feedback to others. Or no one will want to give you any

My @Iron Keys process is:

For the West Coast lead (I switch to Claverotor) I play(ed) the synth notes B-A-B-C#-Db-B-A-G-F#-Gb-E-F#-Gb-E then switch back to West Coast Lead

For Retro Lead I turned the Cutoff knob all the way down and play(ed) notes B-B-A-A on Retro
Lead and switched instrument to Smooth Clav

For bass I played in Fat Mono Bass notes B-A-G-B then C#-Db-D-E-F#-Gb then B-A-G-B again then switched instrument to Liverpool bass

For 1st drum part I chose Bluebird and used Snare

For 2nd drum part I chose Crate Digger switched to Future Breaks and used bass drum

For 3rd drum part I chose Future Breaks switched to Four on the Floor and used mid tom

For 4th drum part I chose Hard Knock tambourine and switched to Brooklyn kit and played w/velocity

For 5th drum part I used cymbal in SoCal kit

For the “rattling” aka “stick roll” sound I used Modern 808 in Beat Sequencer and changed the pattern length to 32 steps and changed the instrument to Modern TR-727 and then changed instrument in Kit Pieces to Quijada followed by:

Sampler option in Keyboard and merging that w/the stick roll created in Beat Sequencer

Played notes B-A-F#-Gb-E-F#-Gb in Hollywood Strings which serve as the strings part heard in OG instrumental

Did you look up the notes or did you find them yourself??

How did you start off the beat?

What were your first steps and processes to figute it all out and get started

I @Iron Keys had to look up the notes in piano form for the synth part(s) as piano and synths are my fave instrument(s)

I did some listening to the actual instrumental and for how I started off the instrumental see post #6

I looked up the notes for each instrument e.g. bass. etc.
