the one thing i will say about mobb is that they came with one of the greatest anthems EVER in shook ones..... and even though outkast is still the better overall group and it is by a small (not real small, but small...) margin, they do not have a song that approaches this one and the impact it still has..... especially after heads heard it that never did on 8 mile, you play it anywhere people like hip hop and everyone get hyped..... ut "retrun of the g" is still one of my all-time favorites!!!

Beatnuts aren't skilled enough lyricly to be considered the best group of all time but as two producers they might be the best and only group that raps on an album full of their beats

It is definitely P. Diddy's Da Band. Naw I'm jus playin. I haven't listened to hip hop long enough to truthfully answer this question. I'm sure ya'll are not going to agree with me though, but I will say Disturbing Tha Peace. I'm a big Ludacris fan, and in my opinion, any song he is on is tight. When the St. Lunatics get together, they make some nice hits too. I like Outkast, but the only reason I didn't say them is because I don't like they stuff when it first comes out. It usually grows on me. Whatever happened to Crucial Conflict?

Three Six Mafia..for one reason that ca't be argued, they have been one top everytime they come out for 12 years. The only people i can say do that everytime out is Outkast, and those who think Andre 3000 slippin don't listen to the single listen to the last song on the love below he keeps getting recpect from me.

The Wu Kilt it because of the way each member branched off and was able to hold his own...

The Wu are like the LAKERS of hip hop....

gotta give credit where credit is due!

There is no best of all time because every group has something there better at than another group. One might shine in lyrics and one might shine in creativity. Its all a matter of opinion but there are too many different styles of Hip Hop to really argue this point. Times change so what was Hot and you considered the best 2 years ago might not be there now. So its hard to say.

styles of beyond? how the hell did they get mentioned in this? the truth really is in the eye of the beholder! beatnuts arent the worst nor the best; they kind of wander around that middle ground of respect but low sales, dope but not great, sought after but not as much as other producers...... and lyrically they are average at their best.

but then i just heard the new outkast and all i can say is... WHAT?

well, andre went out and bugged out worse then anyone yet (he beats out common and kool keith in my book) and musically his disk wanders somewhere in between great, inspiring, and groundbreaking..... and just plain wierd. just listen to the valentines day song. (believe, people, believe..... if you here it you will understand what that meant!) ... and then big boi is ok i guess..... but they made a very big leap on this album and solidified their place in hip hop history, if for nothing more than the boldness to be different (andre especially..... that track with nora jones is gonna be large, guaranteed....) and still maintain a level of excellence, as opposed to the the gang starr's of the world who do THE EXACT SAME THING EVERY TIME.

yeah, they do have the chemistry, but whats the deal with the lyrics from meth? that guy leavs me puzzled. red is always nicer then him it seems.... but they sure do get people hype at a concert, b boys and thugs alike. not many artists can say that.

The new outkast is what truth told said, "A blod Album" after hearing it it's only about 8 songs that I really like but that's only because of the new album syndrome..if it doesn't grab my attention off top I skip the track so maybe in a couple of days I'll give the other songs a chance but far as creativity they sure stick out like a sore thumb...I know I like it more when I give the other songs a chance..Far as the beatnuts go they should stick to producing and stop rapping..I think that they are good producers and with focus on only production they could be a great production team

As much as a fan of Outkast that I am I found myself skipping a lot of joints but on night I was on my way to work and I gave Big Boi a chance and listened to the wole thing and it was tight after listening to what he was saying instead of the beat and on my way hom from work I gave dre a chance and he impressed me with what he had to talk about..My favorite joint from him is behold a lady

My favourite hip-hop duos are;

- Outkast
- Mobb Deep
- Dogg Pound
- Bliss n Eso (friends of mine, you'll here them on the Illmuzik CD Vol 1. They DOPE!!!)
- Tha Eastsidaz
- Blackstar

if I had to choose a greatest duo, I would have to go with Outkast.

personally, I've never thought of Tribe or De La as a duo so they've never entered into my best duo thoughts.
