Like everyone here not only do I love Hip Hop, but I live it. But iI also isten to everything else, and one of my favorite bands is Coldplay. I just got thier new album and its awsome. Does anyone listen to anything else?
Coldplay are okay, I like a lot of stuff of their old album. I prefer rock stuff more like Radiohead and Mogwai though...and of course you can't beat the older rock stuff like Jimi Hendrix.
I really like Joy Division and Sonic Youth too - anyone else feeling their stuff [or heard of them?].....I'm really into all that sort of melodic/drifty/moody rock stuff - old or new. A lot of it is really intricate and surprisingly chilled out.
i got that last cd. The rush to the head or somethin like that. Thats pretty cool. They got a signature sound and the whole album feels like its on the same level, it doesnt jump moods a lot and i like that a lot. its real relaxing smooth rock tpye-shit.
cold play is hot...Metalica..linkin park....my chemical romance...they are all hot..
How ill is it that todays rock music is influences are hip hop and soul and blues...we have come along way..
Coldplay is sikk. I never thought I'd like another UK band but I was wrong. Though, I'm feelin the stuff off of there first album more than the stuff on X&Y.
I like to think I am a pretty eclectic fellow cause I will listen to almost anything and if it has any musical quality and moves me in some way. Anyway, I love Van Halen (I have every single album they put out, even though they were a lot better with David Lee Roth). Here is a short list of other bands not Hip Hop that I like:
