Damn i def never think about growin into the best producer ever, but i def try to make my shit better so i can reach that level and say that my music has been compared to the best. I mean i dont make my music for that to happen, but it would be straight to get to that point. I make beats right now to get better and better. I make music cause i love it. I love having other people hear my shit and them liking it, such a tyte feeling...

I think its proper to strive to be "the best", but it is just a direction. It can keep you moving forward rather than accepting mediocrity. I personally don't think I'll ever be the best beat maker, but that doesn't keep me from trying to be better than the next man.

and then when the smoke clears, i'll be one of the best.
its kinda stupid to actually say u the best cuz there's always somebody workin' harder than you, thats more passionate about this hiphop shit. when u eat, sleep, n' fuck around there's somebody makin' a classic banga somewhere. I always keep dat in the back of my head to keep me focused on the task at hand.

some people have to be the best at sumthin. and u cant hate them for that cuz its a dream worth pursuing. like rocky . in part 1 he was just a bum from phili that couldnt make 25 bucks a week boxing wash ups . in part 2 he stood in the middle of the ring having just conquered creed knowing there was nobody else in the world better than him. its just a movie but it goes for real life too.i think bein the best producer in the world would feel the same way
I just want recognition for being dope and nothin much more as far as being the best goes.....I really aint tryin to "outshine" someone else as if it was a competition....To me music aint a competition regaurdless of the aspect - whether your a bizness man or a purest, doesnt matter to me....I still think you should keep your integrity.

Personaly, I believe if it's ment for you to be the best, then it will happen regardless. No legend in any catagory of fame became great by saying "I am" over and over again...They weren't even trying to be...and I believe it is that humble mind state that truely makes someone "great" in the eyes of the masses...I mean it dosn't matter if you think you are great...it's the fans that decide that. All one can do is be the best they can...

Yeah but thats different Sygma....Thats like sayin what me and Lament and others may have noted, that basically - You want to be as dope as u can be and get some dap for it, but theres a whole nuther side to that, which is totally different pertaining more to the "bigheadedness" that some cats have, or the fact that they think they need to outshine everyone else like its a compitition.....

My drive, passion and competitive nature won't allow me to just make tracks that I feel are good. Hip Hop in it's raw essence is about competition, creativity and props. But what's the criteria for being the best? Is it record sales? The number of artists that you have worked with? A magazine article anointing you as such? Consenses on the street? I don't think there can be such a thing in any form of art. Would I like to be considered among the best? Sure, that's what I'm striving for, but there are too many variables to be able to have an impact on the outcome of such a thing.
