Do you know a good compressor for the Fender American Deluxe Guitar?

Hi!

I play in a cover band and our genres are famous pop, pop-rock and even some house music. The guitarist has the Fender American Deluxe version.

He wants to find a compressor pedal that could delicately handle the dynamics without squashing it, but at the same time compress it neatly. Mid-range budget.

Any suggestions?

Like @thedreampolice said, and I'll add that having a dry/wet knob to blend in some of the dry signal is a good option for the "without squashing it" part.

I use the JHS version of Dan Armstrong's Orange Squeezer, which has a "comp" knob (i. e. ratio) and a "blend" control, plus a dirt switch (because who doesn't need another fuzz ).

Other brands to look at for a compressor pedal are Keeley, Origin Effects and Drybell has a pedal version of a 1176 compressor... the last two are pricey though.
