just got a pair of 1210s and I'm lookin for a good mixer. Not lookin to go above $500,,,anyone recommend a good one?

Ya it's hard to find a good one nowadays. What I did last year was buy a Vestax 06 Pro: http://www.vestax.com/v/products/mixers/pmc-06proVCA.html and put an Innofader in it: http://innofader.com

You can't go wrong with mixers from Vestax, Numark, Stanton, etc. It all depends on what you want: 2 or 3 channels, battle style, effects.

you should be able to get a vestax 05 or 06 pro, easy! but indeed, you should check if you need 2 or 3 channels...i just got a third SL and only 2 chnls

oh yeah,,,whats a good cartridge. Its been like since 99 for me.
