i was telling my mans... that i think Stillmatic is better then God Son, but God Son is my lyrically better then Stillmatic... in my eyes Stillmatic had more street hits, but God Son rep. stronger lyrically... let disc. this... but keep it clean or I WILL BAN U....

Both are good, no, better than good. I will go as far to say that God Son was stronger lyrically and on production. But, Stillmatic came so strong on the streets cuz of the resurrection of the street's disciple and the Jay-z onslaughts. If I had to pick between only having one or the other I go with God Son cuz even the extra cd was ill.

** In my opinion, that's how they stand... Stillmatic, more hits, but God Son lyrically, as said before he grew... but think with Stillmatic, he just want to make sure people felt him... cuz he had been gone for so long, but in God Son, he knew he had his crowd back, and could lyrically experiment and try new and better things... (Lost Tapes) scraps from I think the experimental stuff that didnt fit God Son (Blaze a 50) (DAMN!)

Both albums are well balanced.
Pretty hard to decide, I've listened to God's Son more, but Stillmatic is a classic imo.

stillmatic has more consistent production than gods son. some of the beats on gods son were trash, the only bad beat on stillmatic was that horrible swizz track and that was taken off the album anyway

Personally Stillmatic was a bit doper but not by much Id trade get down, the cross, and the song with pussy kills for ether or One Mic

and it blaze a 50 was on godson that would have been an even tougher descion, but on a side note one of my farovite nas tracks eva is on God Son though Heven that joint is fire

no doubt... Heaven is straight Blazin... def. a hot trk.... my question, is what is he going to do with that 2million dollar beat.... and why does it cost so much, and what do u do, if it doesnt sell, like u thought it would, do u get some of that 2 million back... And I've never heard any Neptunes hit worth 2 million dollars... there's got to be a hard to clear sample in the math... cuz NO KEYBOARD BEAT (no offense yall) is worth 2 MILLION (dr. evil grin) DOLLARS !!!!

I think God Son Was better all around, To me It had more inspiration, with his mom's passing and all. I think Stillmatic definetly put him back on the map and set him in a great postion, but god son just established him to what he is today, God Son was more personal, and for that reason I think God Son was a better album
