I know it may be a stupid question but I want to kno the answer. To those who have digital distro deals, is it more cost effective to your budget rather than having your project pressed and sold in the stores when starting with a small budget? Because I notice alot of cats have snocap, Imeem and other type of deals.

Snocap has done poorly with sales ... They laid off nearly half of their staff and their trying to
sell the company so count them out. Also I forgot where it was but their was something showing
how many sales were made thru snocap since it opened and if I remember correctly it was around
10,000 sales out of 300,000 artists that have snocap which is really bad. If your gonna do digitial
distro with a serious release going with one that places your music in the big markets such as itunes,
yahoo music, rhapsody, and etc. such as thru cd baby or others ...
