If this were true then you'd probably be seeing mp3 software players that use these algorithms as they play, so that the filesize remains the same but the quality is like the original wav.

I'm agreeing with Lazy on this, you can't regain data that's been eliminated.

one thing i thought is clear for all here U CANT GET THE ORIGINAL QUALY BACK but an converted MP3 into WAVE is BETTER qualy then MP3 THIS MUST BE CLEAR FOR ALL.

THATS MY POINT AND IF U DONT UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN THEN **** ***.

yeah man, there is no way a simple converting software can actually rebuild ANY bit of the original song file that has been stripped away during the initial MP3 conversion
