Difference Between Digidesign 002 And Mbox???????????

Can Someone Please Explain The Difference Between These Two Pieces Of Hardware/software...thanks..incog

if im not mistaken digi design is the maker of protools which comes with the mbox

naaaaa, there are two seperate things made by digidesigns....the 002 and the mbox..can anyone tell me the difference??

Mbox is a little break out box, and 002 is a full rack, both built to work with pro-tool. First difference : the price. 500$ M-Box, 2000$ 002 (all variable). They both come with Pro Tool LE. The difference is the quality of the preamp, the processing power, the number of inputs outputs and the quality of the d/a a/d (convertissors).

Go to www.digidesign.com;
Choose ProTools LE systems, then check the specifications of each product and compare. This is the best way to do it.
(Btw, you need firewire support to run Digi002, and USB for the M-Box).
