He has 2 of most slept on albums of the year MISSISSPPI &MTA2 baptised in dirty waters. In the East he is under the radar but down south he has MUCH LOVE & RESPECT. He is doing everything kanye west has done and is a better rapper(sometimes producing also). As a matter of fact HE is better than kanye WEST casue he is doing it on his own. Kanye has the Roc to back him up.

produced 2 albums in one year as well as a number of hits from other people (ex T.I ,trick daddy, Cee-lo,etc)

DAVE has his masters degree in english(belive it or not) but he doesnt need to put it our their like other people.

Kanye is tight but there are people out their doing there thing that are better

Plus that nigga is from the south !!!!!

Their are a lot of rappers out from the dirty right now that are spitting pure GARBAGE!!! And it kills me that they use the south's name in vain.

So even though Dave is from the south i defiantly can look at it objectively

I think dave can spit better. Just listen to cadillac on 22's . Have you even heard his albums. Be honest

Nah I think Kanye will crush David haha. I think David banner is sick though. (Missisipppi is my shit) I respect him cause he talks about socio economic issues relating to society rather than just always talkin about head bussin'.

I haven't heard all of his albums but I like what I've heard. BTW there's some southern cats I dig. Dead Prez, outkast, shit I even like 3/6 mafia (I like all types of hiphop)

I think Kanye and David banner are in the same boat cause they both are socially concious rapper/producers.

But Kanye is better homie

I can think of ummm....alot Im not that big a fan of Kanye's rappin but hes one of my favorite producers Im also not really that much of a David Banner fan I dont really know why so I say.....Your all rong Crooked I would eat all of them

I listened to David Banner, one because someone wanted some beats like that and 2 they needed bounce tracks otherwise I would only play that for like 45 seconds, I mean the beats are truly dirty and 808 and heavy bassline carries it as they should......but don't get upset at this, his beats are minimal considering their actual quality but him doing something unique or different is debatable.....if I had my choice Lil Jon and Quick to back down is an example of HEAT from the Dirty Dirty......

- holmz LOL i dont think its gonna turn ugly i just wanted a friedly discussion about 2 differnt producers that are doing the same thing from differnt perspectives.

--Mr Messanger-- I was trying to compare david and kanye casue they are trying to do the same thing.

--bigdmakintrax I dont think so. I will give you that sometimes his beats are drumheavy but thats just his style. He is not a sampler like kanye. (Most producers from the south dont sample). Its just a different style. I think when you break it down his beats are just as complex but in a differnt way. He spitts knowlege on some CRUNK in the CLUB shit. You cant beat that.
Also I dont think lil john is really HEAT from the south. HE just found his little niche and is running with it. I doubt that he will have the longjevity to stay in the game for awhile. Here is SOME producing heat from the dirty south, Organized noise,DJ demp,DAVID BANNER, Slum drum productions(andre 3000) etc....

For those who dont no, PLEASE check out THE ALBUM if you can get all this hype about college drop out then you can give MISSISSIPPI a chance

I'm not taking sides but classic it's not just the rock backing Kanye....Stand up(luda) You don't know my name(alycia) ae the ones I can name off the top of my head not counting all the work he has done for scarface and twista his track record without the roc is more impressive than david banners.....I like Dave and I'm getting sick of Kanye but until dave gets that one off the wall joint he'll always be in the shadows compared to Kanye

Cool bottom line though, I won't compare Kanye to David Banner, I would rather find someone that does what he does to compare, I like Lil Jon no matter how obnoxious he might be.....he's been in the Game for awhile, his shidd rocks too man ! I think David Banner will need to keep from being an here today gone tomorrow by putting out more hits and gaining all around respect, Lil John, Luda & Outkast (old outKast LOL) were able to Jump across the Southern Divide and produce for artists outside of their regions and also do tracks that don't just stay on one wavelength.....don't get me wrong but I just was not impressed with David Banners Production to the level of being something that A Wide audience is going to Flock to and like enuff to be on some worldwide level and I do like dirty South artists and I'm not hating, but giving my truthful opinion.

I'm so glad that you didn't take that the wrong way and start beefing with me .....I tip my hat to you....all we need to do is get out there and push our product wherever we can give it a way for free go to clubs hand out cd's and business cards nothing comes easy Kanye didn't become a sucess over night and neither David Banner it's hard work
