so my mom stops by right and was like my sisters crazy as neices-father might be by to serve. So i was loading my shotgun 6-shot amunition an fired on accident from 8feet away it blew 33 records unplayble. first thing ididwas feel my face an body to make sure i wasn't hit. but i'm surprised on the lack of damage, no reply asked this was just an experience.. my left ear feels it

i stay with a loaded shottie all the time. i fire it by accident pretty often.

Man, if I blew out 33 records I'd just stop, sit, and reflect on my life for a few weeks.

I'd rather not have to have one infact last night was the first time it was shot. i'd'll be cool though i learned my lesson.. i need to take it too the gunrange to get more familiar. I'd been drinkin when i found out there might be trouble, an no the records were not all sampled and some were my older brothers, but it's better than if it blew a hole in the house somewhere.. least the records makes me suffer from my mistake and not brining anyone else into it. Haha when it first happened i patted myself down to make sure i wasn't hit.. crazy shit. an it wsn't 6-8 feet away it was more like 3-4.. if it were 6-8 i'd probably lost about 50 or more

an craig thanks for the info the shotgun only holds 2 in the chamber and one cocked [i'm pretty sure] so I eventually need to take that plug out

Word up.

It sounds like you might need a gun safety course if you ask me... Guns and Liqour are never a good combo... Plus shotty's suck for distance and they're real messy up close.

I got a shotgun because if someone gets in i want the best method, safest for myself, to kill them. But you say shotties suck.. What would be the best weapon for myself to get?
an yeah i will go to a gun saftey course. i'm pissed now because i went through the records that i lost. some real good shit

i was just thinking about this.. last night i loaded the gun and then after a few hours i unloaded it. It's a 12gauge Maverick Mongoose btw. I thought i unloaded everything and then fired just to make sure but i was sure it was empty because i spit out all the shells. But if i have a shell loaded an cocked can i unload it? I think that's where i messed up. I guess if i cock a shell into the chamber i have to fire it. Is this true?

it wasn't like i was stumbling around an hit fire on accident, i thought i spit out all the shells

if you cock it while a shell is already in the chamber it should fly out, just cock it until nothing else flys out then look down the chamber while holding the grip in the load position (closest to you) and you can see that its empty

DO NOT LOOK DOWN THE BARREL FROM THE FRONT, I REPEAT NOT DOWN THE BARREL FROM THE FRONT

i've researched guns times before and came on sites that sell them easy with "Buy Now" button's next to them. But damn I ain't that clumsey OR wanting to destroy the rest of this house trying to kill someone. The Moongoose is cool I just need to know when it's loaded, cocked, not loaded and cocked and all in the between
