Here's my problem. I installed cubase a few days ago an it doesnt seem to work with my soundcard, although its supposed to. I have a M-audio Audiophile Usb soundcard. It seems as if the sound goes into cubase, but cubase doesnt send the sound to my soundcard. Can anybody help me here.

You gotta setup Cubase SX 2 for that specific Audio card under
Devices -> Device Setup -> VST Multitrack. Now select your audio card for the ASIO. Should be - M-Audio Delta ASIO or something like that. To set your latency, click the "control panel" button on the screen you are on too. Make sure all your setting are right for VST inputs/ VST outputs/ Default MIDI ports ect. ect.
Hope that helps.

Peace out

It also pays to get a PCI soundcard also ( less hassle ). I've seen USB soundcard create mad problems in the middle of a session and totally kill the vibe of the session.

I got a audiophile 2496 and it works fine . Just make sure you choose the m-audio delta asio in the option menu . The standard asio gave an latency of 750 ms .... and thats not that fast :p
