How do you make it so the beat gradually fades out in cool edit pro thanks holla back

Hey,

1. Select the part where you want the fade out to be
2. Go to favorites>fade out.

But what about selecting, say, the end part of the wav, and selecting:
Effects>Amplitude>Envelope. Should give the same result, no? Although Fade Out is much quicker!

Hey,

Fade, you are right...the favorite is just a shortcut, it doesn't pop up any dialogues. If you have a few things that you use a lot, you can make it a 'favorite' and assign it to a keyboard shortcut.

If you want your fade out to sound way more professional, use the "Bell Curve" preset under envelope as opposed to just fading out.
