do u use any other audio editors for chopping Ash or just Recycle?

pretty much just recycle... the only other thing is if im sampling a dirty record with static and hiss ill throw it in peak just to get rid of the hiss/crackle... but yeah recycle is so simple... plus i can do all my chops at once and export them straight into the mpc as a program.. shit is cake... u can do the same shit on the mpc as recycle but it just takes longer so i fuc wit recycle for chopping shit up... recycle is low on other features but i dont need all that extra stuff .. for just plain choppin it cant be beat though

i havent used reason in a bit but i had a solid work flow going in there for a minute... those were the days. lol. (still learning/working on my process on my mpc..)

what i used to do was chop things up real simple like on audacity, and then load them into the nnxt to play with my keyboard. the nnxt is more flexible to me than using recycle or anyhting.

just my two cents. good luck...

I chop everything in Sound Forge as well.

To get around the bpm/time stretching problem I get ghetto and take run put it in FLStudio demo version, there I can choose the exact bpm, precisely.

Kind of ghetto but it works for me.

the program is quick and easy for working out bpm's....

some times give out double the number for songs slower the 75 bpm but you can tell straight away you need to half it...
