This interesting. This is a perfect example of how unlimited Reason really is as this would be tough to set up in another program.

Ha! I beg to differ, you can do the same thing easier with a program made by FL Studio called DrumMaxx, the program is so old that it comes free with 9.5, reason on that!

im not a fan of fl never really was but that's wazsup fl has a lot of option but just not my cup of tea

i would try this for fillings though just add another redrum and use it for some fillings on my own drum pattern just was kinda interesting

Those are modeling presets. I dont see anywhere that you can load your own sample.

In fact this is from the product page

"Drumaxx is not based on samples or even commonly used 'synthesis'

Honestly speaking, you're kinda right but here's the thing, drumaxx gives you the tools to basically create any drum sound that you can imagine from the amplitude of the mallet to the size, material, shape and so on of the membrane, which really does eliminate the need to load samples.
