U kno how my nigga Kanye use the sample through the fire.... how do u or how did he change it to say through the wire? Put me on cuz I kno a few songs were I could change a word or two and it would be crazy!

Yeah, like the others say, it's because of the pitch change. And also, it's psychological, cuz you know the title is "Wire" so you think she's saying it. But she does say wire at one point:
