On the real,,,no one ever said Iran had Nuclear weapons except the Bush Administration. Russia is helping Iran go nuclear for power and it was published from UN inspectors that Iran is over 20 years from being anywhere near having nuclear weapon technology.

I saw on the news a poll claiming that the rest of the world was 80% for Obama. I think people i general just want a leader that looks like he has good intentions. You can tell if anyone from the Republican party has good intentions.

And to follow up on what Stress was saying, one more reason I like Obama was he said we need a nation of Active Citizens. Active in the sense of just caring about what is going on and paying attention to what the government is doing. Our last 2 generations lost that. It was like after we got Civil rights passed and women started getting what they wanted everyone stopped caring. Now only gay people follow the politics because they are fighting for their rights. This kinda goes along with the whole education idea. I have no idea why they don't teach and stress current events in high school. I think everyone should know who their state leaders are and what they are going with their power. We should be able to rate politicians like we rate quarterbacks. And we should have stats on all of them just like we have sports stats.

As far as Iran goes, I thought we have actual sound bites and audio clips of Iran vowing to destroy Israel as soon as they get nukes? Am I being uneducated about that right now?

Also, if you guys missed the speeches both McCain and Obama gave today, you missed some straight awesomeness. I don't know how people can't support Obama outside of just being racist. He made some very specific points and explained in very great detail why America is fuct up right now. You will hear McCain and Palin say exactly what Obama and Biden are saying about reforming our Government. But Obama takes it light years further by identifying who is the problem and why they are the problem. McCain has already said several times he is against financial regulation but you see how abusive the people in control of the market are being. Someone needs to enforce some kind of law on these people. McCain and most Republicans don't see a problem with our economy or a need to help because they belong to the group of people who are not being abused.

I am still waiting for someone to explain to me why Obama would should not be in office and exactly how can he make things worse?

Agree! I have nothing against the people of Israel but there gov't uses us like a puppet! Notice that they've been m.i.a from the news for months. When they want to take some more land a bomb goes off in the marketplace. There as guilty at killing there own as our gov't is!

it is in fact quite simple. israel was installed down there without any considerations.
its like somebody comes to your house, sits in your living room, smokes your wheed and after some time starts banishing and killing your relatives. a few years later you find yourself living in a fenced off piece of your own backyard. ah yea, and they locked the fridge...

israel has to open the country to everyone; otherwise there will be no peace down there and people like ahmadinedschad, no matter how crazy he is, will have a legitimate argument in saying israel has to vanish. period

The UN made Isreal out of Palestine in the traditional land of Isreal after the NAzi holocaust in WWII.
Prior to that I believe it was an english colony or at least under british control. I may be wrong on the country but it was european and Im almost certain it was britain.
The holocaust is a fact because the nazi's thinking that they would be ruling the world for the next thousand years took impecable notes on everything they did so as to be able to glorify their god/leader adolf.
So what with 6 million jews dead and lots of money plundered from europe what did they do? Made Isreal .
Thats the equivilent of the UN deciding that YOUR town is now part of Chinas holy land and so now Chinese....
By the early 60's Isreals neighbors had decided this cant be, so they attempted to liberate palestine.
This is called the 6 day war in which Isreal took much more territory than had been given it in the first place including the west bank and the golan heights while beating the shit out of Egypt and Syria... I mean CREAMED them.
WE did not help and in fact were attacked ( a communication navy vessel monitoring) by the Israeli airforce.
I noticed there werent similar reperations for the millions of Africans in America but there is Liberia, which I think we should back more.
