First of all, I need to agree with Pug, Montreal is a wicked town to live in but the music scene is so shitty, the little people that constitute it are hatin on eachother instead of helping.

Anyhow, I was born with music, my dad used to be in a blues band as a guitarist and around 14 i start playin drums for him to pratic his tracks...so that basically how i started.

Hopefully, I will be able to make a carrer out of my passion but for now im just tryin to improve my beats as much as i can. Pretty much testing different type of music. I already started workin as a producer for different local artist and also makin jingles for different TV show and student movie.

I would love to make producing music a career, but like homie said its a long and hard road. Right now its a hobbie because don't put in the time. I'm a full time student studying business right now so school has taken alot of my energy for the past 4 years. I live in Pueblo, Colorado, and the talent is far and few between in these parts. I seriously considered going to recording school but I figured for the money I would spend to attend, I could use to produce, mix, and master and album at a full fleged studio along side a experiened engineer.

I`m trying to do this professionally too. I have a Publishing deal, but like people say, it`s hard to break into this industry. I`ve been making Hip Hop beats for 3 years, and have had this deal for 6 months, and still have not sold one song to a major. Hmmm, now that I`ve read that, that doesn`t sound too good. I still have a day job. I started playing drums at 15, and played clubs and recorded for many independant labels. I`m 37 now. Yup, old but still love music. If it was for the money, I would have quit years ago. Yes, I want the big time money these cats make, but I can`t stop making music if I don`t make it. I have all this music in me, and I have to get it out of me. It`s like holding all your problems in, and not talking about them to people. Eventually you blow up at someone. I feel that same way about music. I don`t feel right if I`m not making music.

Do it for the love.

Peace.
