Right now, im using Reason 3.0 with Bome's Mouse Keyboard & MIDIYoke's Drivers, and i got Reason config'd so i can use my ASDFG KeyBoard to play keys and whatnot. But, on Bome's site(www.bome.com), i noticed it has a tutorial on configuring Cubase SX to work with Bome's KeyBoard, So I was wondering if i should convert over, or if one is better then the other, right now im pretty comfortable with reason, gettin to know the stuff. But, as a newb I was curious if Cubase would be easiser to learn on? Any suggestions would be much appricated.

i found cubase a little more harder to get to grips with. stick it out with reason for a bit, since you seem to be comfortable with it. then if you feel you need more options and vsts and stuff give cubase a try.

if u think in a long term u will run out of sounds with reason since u got no VST support. think big and go with CUBASE4 or with a combo of CUBASE4+REASON.

Now, with Guru can you set the pads up like with reason, or even can u do that with battery? or do i have to play it all out?

i dont think you will run out of sounds with reason necesarrily... because it gives you the flexibility to give you the ability to make any sound... all you have to do is learn what each of those little knobs do(which i'm in the process of doing currently)... and tweak sounds and make new sounds and you'll probably never run out.... but i think you should learn both... im pretty sure cubase has better quality then reason, so if you rewire them, you get both vst support and an upgrade in quality...
