And them Good ol boys drinkin whiskey and rye.. Singin this'll be the day that I die.

Well... According to the very dramatic media it is officially "Financial Armegedon"!!
I don't know how much of that I believe but the guy on CNN who just broke it all down as far as short term credit being locked so people wont be able to get paychecks should have prolly got on and broke it down for the lil man BEFORE the vote so people could understand what this is all about, I swear that's the best Ive heard it put yet..
I honestly haven't been able to understand it all yet.

Reason why this happened? Republicans shot it down even though the president begged them to pass it, the reason why there?
Nancy Pelosi the democratic leader gave a speech before the vote that hurt the republicans feelings...............
So they killed us all.....

They just said there won't be any light at the end of the tunnel into the year 2015!!!
You may go to use your credit card and may not be able to use it. SMH

What better way to get us to hand over or sovereignty to Europe? At Bush Gardens they already have the AmeriEuro ATM machines out. The one world gov't is at hand people.....real talk. The sad thing is that most of us will go willingly because we're so fucking spoiled.

In France they had already gotten to the point to where you could only spend $200 american dollars a day. In some parts of Europe they laugh in your face when you attempt to spend the dollar. It's a very said day for us Americans. The Republicans have sold our Country right out from under our noses. Tricky dick Nixon started this whole ball to rolling when he sold our gold and made property and credit the back bone of our money.

i dont get why people wont step out on the streets anymore. you should walk out, seize the wallstreet buildings and say you want regulation on that shit. tie-up otherwise. its simple, we are the people, arent we.
boundless capitalism eats up itself and will collapse one day. europe will share that fate.

Yeah, this is a horrible day. Fuck Jimmy Carter and George Bush. Yeah, wonderful, make our dollar an IOU instead of having it backed by gold. Oi. Then we have greedy ass wall street trying to make commissions on every house even it means the people who get them can't really afford them. On to the senate, everyone of them is catching feelings now, and they're acting like a bunch of little kids. If McCain wins, then we're all fucked. I do not trust him and his MILF friend at all.

Feels like a combination but Iono man.

You're right. It is a combo of both.

The financial institutions are going to lose a lot of money. And what that means is we have to help unless we want to lose money. Like they said, tax payers can lose money by paying for the bailout bill or they can lose money in the stock market like they did today. Something like a trillion lost in stocks in 1 day.

The Republicans can afford to say NO to the bailout plan, but the middle class needs it. Like Chris Rock says, I want to vote for the guy with 1 house because he think like me. McCain has 12 properties.

Basically, both parties are trying to get over on each other. They both agree government needs to step in but HOW they fix this is the problem.

Republican's caused the problems by deregulating the over site of lending, Democrats and Republicans took advantage of the deregulation and got really greedy and now the Republicans want Democrats to put their neck on the line instead of voting for the bill.

That is why they did not vote for this bill. It is like a trap. If the Dems pass this, they can blame Dems for using tax dollars to fix things. But Republicans don't want to take blame for the problem. If you listen to McCain, you'll hear him say, "This is not the time for fixing the blame, we need to fix the problem."

What he is saying is, "Stop blaming the Republicans and you Dems need to pass this bill."

You can see this in the number. 2/3 of the Dems fought for this and 2/3 of the Republicans fought against it.

The thing that still kills me is that this happened in the past, and it happens yet again. One thing that always killed me was CEO's still got PAID even if a company fucks up or fails. While the workers are getting fucked because of management's screw ups, the top guys still gets their millions and then they laugh their way to buying some property the read out of the Robb Report. This could be the first of the increasing of the Grand Canyon like gap between the rich and the poor. I can't remember, but are there talks of not paying a CEO their bonuses if a company fails for the year and to make their salaries more incentive based?

but are there talks of not paying a CEO their bonuses if a company fails for the year and to make their salaries more incentive based?

Yes.

But most Republicans don't like that.

Let me be specific. Republicans do not want to give CEO parachutes. They do not believe in saving people who make bad decisions. But they also do not believe in putting a CAP on CEOs. That is like saying, you can sell beats, but none of your beats can make more than $10,000 dollars. I don't care if it sells 10 million records, you can only make max $10,000.

DEMs also do not want to reward corrupt CEOs but they also want to put in a lot of regulations in place to keep CEOs and general private practice in check.

It is a very tricky situation because GREED is what drives America. And that GREED, when unregulated can destroy America.

It's like what ODB said, who the fuck wants to be an emcee if you can't get paid, to be a fuck'n emcee.

Imagine putting a CAP on an emcee.

If you thought Hip Hop was shitty now, imagine how bad it would be if you said no emcee can make more than $50,000 a year? You would lose a lot of talent. Now apply that to the private sector. Companies would stop making their products and services.

Like Illmuzik for example.

If Fade got regulated on his own site. He started it. He owns it. And then someone comes in and tells him he can't do what he wants to do? He'd just quit. Then we wouldn't have this dope community.

But... lets say Fade was taking our music and selling it without giving us a cut?

He would need to be regulated.

We would have to get Democratic on his ass.

And that leads us to the REAL PROBLEM.

If Fade was making a lot of money off our music, we regulate him and get a cut. But say we take so much money that he shuts down his site. Then none of eat and the whole iLLmuzik movement stops.

You end up with AMERICA.

but isnt the problem profits made from and speculations based on values which are not concrete?
Putting a CAP on CEOs and establishing regulations for highly speculative and insubstantial stock- and moneymarkets is worlds apart

How many of the dollar is in the US ?
How big is the US nat. export product ?
How much is the national debt ?

On the whole CEO thing... If a company is down the drain, then you dont reserve gold checks for bonusses while firing off a shitload of people which couldve been paid 10 times with their bonusses. I said you dont reserve but they do, they damn well make sure. They can fail in their job, get the bonus and get a new job to screw over and get paid again. Its like fade owns the joint and pays you to run it, shit goes down and you're off the paylist to deduct value in case of take over, fade makes damn sure that the value remains -> there is his bonus, keeps stockholder commissary happy! Common people fired, uber people happy... (you're not that uber fade, else you'd be in politics hehe).

If the US hadnt been borrowing from china, if the US hadnt used taxmoney for your war on "terrorism", if tax money would be spend on US exploit (spending tax money on US companies, also in the US) then this all wouldnt have so much of an inpact, but yeah, you have Bush with his industrial complex on a suicide mission...and he gets carte blanche... E-commerce is finally paying its toll but again, it wont be republicans suffering but the US including dumb ass republicans (thanks for voting) and those 15%'ers dont care, venture capitalists wont care and private equities wont get hurt..au contrair, this is the best possible sketch for dominance and hostile take overs by powerful private equities.

Industrialy, its interesting, i wonder how long the Japan will stick to its dollars, they have a huge share in the dollar and the US has been doing their best to make sure the dollar would keep value in favor of Japan by keeping the euro low (not only japan of course). Industrialy, its not interesting as it only relates to entities who do nothing for the US except exploit to different soil and venture the new profit due to the current situation(all the defense related industries are whealty as fuck right now thanks to your tax money). Its interesting for carlyle and their newly aquired banks in china, bush can say that hes disappointed in the congress but his dad is laughing his ass off as we speak because the war budgets are still being increased whenever possible (priorities of course, war on terrorism...).

And in one day we lost 1.2 trillion dollars. Oy.

Thing is we need to stop the ever increasing divide between the rich and poor. When you have to make a life decision at the pump(Katt Williams), then our economy has problems.

For the CEO thing, it's only if the company does well that they get their bonuses, if it fails, then they get jack shit like everyone else.

True capitalism would of been letting these companies die; however, we all would have been fucked more than Jasmine St. Clair on a Saturday night.

Im buggin on the fact they shut down Congress for Rosh Hashanah..
How many Jewish members of Congress are there???
I wouldnt care if it was X-Mass, you dont stop on something this important for a "Holiday".

you do when Israel is calling the shots....

This can be a good thing,,,technically. Today is the last day of the Financial Year. There's a reason for the rush. I'm predicting that by next month we will be declared in a financial crisis and this will postpone the elections for November and Martial Law will be enacted. They won't call it that, but that's where we're going.

The Republicans aka Neo Con Nazi regimes are losing their power. The economy they created is starting to fall because everybody got greedy. It's been 50 years in the making. What we need to look out for is the other regimes looking to take over next. That's why it's so important we start uniting now as a country.

We the people...can capitalize on this political blunder and take our country back. We just have to stop being so naive and put the remotes/video games down.

yeah man .. the powers that be are swaying back and forth ready to fall, and they are not letting go without a serious fight. A fight that ultimately, is destoying the country and middle class of America. Im not sure a bailout is the answer, because it will again weaken the dollar, which is the one of the main reason we are in this mess. The feds need to stop printing money that they dont have. Nixon and Bush. Traitors to America. Not in the obvious way, but sneaky bastards that brought down the value of our country and replaced substance with iou's and fake credit. And we fell for it. and some people are still continuing to fall for it.
