how many of you guys here like read books , not just music related but any kind of books
just to read

im an engineering major so basically i could have gone 4 years
without ever havin to read a book but i tried to read a few books here and there

Bringing down the house is a great book ....its about MIT students who find a way to count
cards in black jack and take casinos for millions ...true story too , never had a book that i couldnt wait to finish until that one

anyone out there got any good books to check out?

The Vampire series by Ann Rice are dope. Ya know the whole Interview with a Vampire thing? Good shit. I'm about to get into the DaVinci Code, I;ve had it for awhile, but I havnt read it yet!

ive also read The Master Game, Doors Of Perception and the Celestine Prophecy among others

i've heard that the Davinvi Code is a freakin great book. theres a series out by King. called the Dark Tower. it's like, 7 books total. i've only read one and a half, and it's kinda confusing, but its still some good shit. oh, one of my favorite books was called Vertical Run. i dunno the author, but that is some suspenseful shit right there. good times.

i read the da vinci code in may finished it in a few days really great book he writes in a way where you literally have to keep going to find out whats next, every chapter is a cliff hanger so the book goes fast
stress you should read about 50 pages and you ll be set you wont stop

looks like theres some good books here i ll check them out at the library

im sure most the libraries do this but the one in my town has the latest dvd movies to borrow for free (12 at a time) and tons of music cds to borrow to good for sampling and stuff

Hey Class, try reading "The Wanting Seed" also, by Burgess. Very interesting perspective of what happens to society when we reach levels that equate to over-population. Especially interesting since we seem to be headed that direction rather quickly. Did you read the British or English version of "A Clockwork Orange?" THe British version has an extra chapter on the end that also wasn't in the movie (because Kubrick only knew of the American version).

I read the Da Vince code last week and finished it in three days! that book is the best book ever! i was hooked after the first page! every chapter is a cliffhanger Groucho_marx ur so right. theres always like a line right at the end of the chapter that makes u go "oooh"! illest book ever!
also Bill Bryson, a walk in the woods and Lost continent are very funny books and worth a peep! i read alot of his stuff!

i never really read books unless they make me read them in school but the only book i read and realy liked was the "Outsiders" by S.E Hinton it is my fav book i guess i like it so much cuz i am like the character Ponyboy. and i also read spraycan art that is a good book to.

but if yall could give me some good books to read that is intriging i would probley read it.

but i won't garentee you that i will finish it tho lol. cause i hate reading

If you count comic books then I guess you can say I read a little bit. I have a short attention span so I can't do big books. But I did pick up this book called Kokology. It is supposed to be more like a game of self discovery. You can pick one up used from amazon.com for less than 5 bucks. It has a bunch of scenarios and then gives a list of answers to choose from. Your answer reveals something about yourself. The first day I broke it out at work....we did like 24 of them. They are pretty funny and accurate for the most part.

Makes it easy to talk to chicks.....just hit them with one of the scenarios and your talking for hours. Unless you got bad breath or something.
