Yea cna $13.50 an hour some make nearly 20 depending on location,facility and experience
I got it when i was 15 landed a gig @ 16 took a year to get certified. This was 8 years ago though now the class is less than 12 months
Lot's of nice paying jobs for minors if you have certifications

I worked at a restaurant once as a prep cook when I was 16 and I made 10 bucks an hour. At the time that was dope as hell. Plus it was all under the table and tax free cuz the manager legally couldn't have me on the payroll! Theres usually a handful of spots like that looking to hire somebody on the under, you just gotta bug the right fools to get in.

You could always do something like landscaping if your not worried about getting your hands dirty. Those types of jobs are typically real cutty and the people doing the hiring dont give a shit, they just need the labor and someone that wont fuck it up.

I started out working in restaurants dishin and what not, working in a movie theater was the best though, try and do either usher or projectionist. projectionist should be like part time or after HS as they want you to stay late and what not.
Back then as a pj I used to just make beats in the booth waiting on the movies to either break,end or start .

Here! Here! It IS the best job ever , I think I worked there for ..shit..89-94..Lots of fun and I made lots of music connections there.

school isnt an obstacle for me, i can work anytime, i got my ged (dont look at me as the dumb slacker kid, i was like 80 something goddamn points away on my score from getting a scholarship)

Apply for like Usher so your not stuck behind the counter all day, but tell them you are interested in learning projection.
Learrning to build movies and screening them is fun...Until they break and you have to go running up to fix them.

If you're trying to get a good amount of money per hour try the restaurant industry. Not back of the house though, tips tack on to your hourly wage like crazy.
As a server, I made $54 in tips last night ( a slow monday) and ony worked for 5 and half hours. $17 an hour if you break it down.
On a busy weekend with a good section, I've made $130 in tips. I work at a cheesy imitation italian restaurant, The Old Spaghetti Factory.
pays my bills though, holla.
And if you can't get a job serving, you could be a busser and make tips there too. I did it for 3 years and I put every paycheck towards music through high school.
