I think I'm old enough to have listened to Run DMC, but I wasn't a fan... (I'm more of a Public Enemy, Bran Nubian, Grand Puba, Lords Of The Underground, Lost Boyz... fan back then)

I dont think you can really say there is a best group of all time since each person has his own style...

But my favorite group has to be Outkast...

Don't get me wrong outkast is dope, and I like the original shit they were doing, they seem to have lost their way with all that going to the green and being completely different in a real wack ass way and shit, I dunno to each his own but for back in like 98,99,2000 or so they was HOT, but they left off my list cause to me they fell off.....and I just cant see them in the same class with the WU or some of the real hip hop...its sort of like comparing NWA and WU Tang...feel me? Fuse the way you broke it down was sort of how I would have done it...but I just made and overall all around list....
