Anybody know of any solid free sampler VST's that can turn one-shots into an instrument and edit/save them as presets? I've got a lot of one shots and don't really wanna pay $350 for Halion 6.

Cubase, and it does have a sampler but you can only save instruments as presets with either the full version of groove agent or halion 3 & 6 afaik. There are a few shortcomings like that sprinkled throughout to try to get people to upgrade, like no bulk exporting stems either which would be a simple feature but nope.. need the pro version to do that too

Update, I did download tx16 but tbh the layout was a bit crowded and confusing. I did however buy Waves CR8 sampler a few days ago and it works really well with an easy to explore layout, especially good when used with Cosmos AI sample organizer, which was free and super useful. I sound like a salesman lol but fr super good plugins

downloaded it and gonna give it a try! looks promising indeed. Apart from my drumkits i dont work with oneshots much..but maybe this will help me organize all those samples laying around lol.
