i'm interested in knowing what production equipment past "beat this!" winners have used. anyone know? have most of the winners used fruity loops, mpc 2000, 2000xl, 4000, 1000, 60, making waves audio, etc.? or is it balanced?

I think most used F.L a few use Reason and a few used hardware could be wrong but I think 1 thing for sure most used Software

Its all over the place, and thats the beauty of it, if u got skills you got skills, the tools u use to get ur music out are insignifcant...

With that said like gyal said check the interviews, most of the stuff is in there

off top i know the following people

gyal- FL and a bunch of crazy ass samples
holmz- reason& cubase (but he has switched over to hardware MPC4000)
me- MPC 2000xl& motif rack
duecemade- Reason and some other stuff
Bid D- a whole bunch of hardware and software
Afrique- reason, midi controller and some VST's
merc- ASR (but i think he just sold it)
