There normally are 5 or 6 beats that I really dig... Today it's more like 10 or 12. I guess vocals help in that matter. But yes it takes the focus out of the beat itself I guess...

I think my vote this time will lean towards someome who did something slightly different with it.

A lot of tracks here got kinda the same vibe - not to discredit them. Y'all did good. But a lot sounding too similar to pick between

For ones with vocals, I'll choose based on how you used the vocal. Some sound a bit like you just slapped an acapella on top without it fully fitting. Others sound good.

well it's safe to say that mostly everybody jumped on the same sample piece..which made every beat sound the same...i was going to use it as well, but i figured this was going to happen. so win or lose i'm glad mine will sound different from everybody else's....and every beat is dope af..but they all are similar..nothing original..makes it hard to vote
