a lot of dope beats, but some to me just don't quite match the theme...

@Eddie B. nice vibe, but the drums sound lackluster
@hardboiled dope beat. nothing bad to say, maybe the kick could stand out some more, still dope. i like the sample change up near the end, but the triphop flip or whatever... not my thang:)
@Mike Free Music i really dig the rock melody but the drums i defenitely dont.
@Nahshon Beasley very grimey, not quite my style but sounds pretty good!
@NuNu creative beat. i like the blending of drums and gun sounds.. maybe sometimes theres a bit much going on, still good beat
@oninkaf nice strings and horns, drums a bit thin and the vocs sometimes sound off but still good job with the beat
@S3oulC1ty fire as always. so jelous off that mix:) the sample could be a tad louder after the switch. the sfx u use fit very nicely and are all on point, great timing. maybe the bass could use some more swing. still all minor comlplaints
@Spuntastic not very war-ish to me but good beat with a strong sample flip. the hat sounds a bit stiff but the rest sounds fine to me!

I'm disappointed though because quite a few beats didn't follow the theme:

You MUST make a beat that is fitting for a war scene where a battle is happening. It has to be intense, hard-hitting, and make the listener want to go to war. NO SOFT LAID BACK BEATS!

OK… I ain't here to make enemies but you gotta respect my honesty. ok?
@S3oulC1ty
@NuNu
@Mike Free Music
@hardboiled
@Eddie B.
@D.R-FAM (If you would've added some gunshots or something…)
All the aforementioned producers where the only ones who hit the mark in my opinion. I did like the majority of the beats submitted though, outside of like 1 or 2 (No name dropping right there. Not here to make rivals.) of them on the list. @Fade already said "War"…. not smooth criminal…. or boom bap. We all have good music but my gripe is on attention to detail. Just because its aggressive does not make it suitable for the war challenge. It ain't about stepping your game up on this particular thread but it IS about focus. I know some of you will read this and have some choice words for me but this is really just me as a producer talking to my fellow producers that wanna hear some honesty…. not penis riding. OK…. there's my 2 cents.
P.S. I love you all but I also stand behind every typed word in this post. don't get at me… Seriously… Don't do it.

Here are my reviews:

@2 $lick : Good strings although they sound a bit strained. I was hoping to hear the beat transition a bit.
@44Beatzz : Love the gunshots. I think if there was a proper drum track on this it could have sounded a lot more solid.
@A.R. DASUPASTAR : Horn is dope. Piano doesn't match though, it sounds just thrown in. I think if you had a nice piano sample that matches the tone of the horn it would sound much better.
@d.fusion : The low end bass and kick really give it a gutter feeling. Snare fits perfectly. The horns are what carries this and makes me want to fight.
@D.R-FAM : I liked this beat a lot at the beginning but it was just too repetitive for my liking. But I like what you were doing with it, it would have just been nice to have something else come in to give it some flavor.
@Eddie B. : I love the beginning because I was expecting a hard-hitting beat to come in. But this was too laid back, although it had a nice dark vibe.
@hardboiled : I was figuring you'd have a beat like this. It works really well with the theme but I think what takes away from it is the vocal snippets when you play around with them. They just sound a bit forced as well as choppy.
@INDS : You always have dark chill beats which I love, but not for this theme. I think this beat in another theme would rank high.
@Klypse : Dope drums. This is another beat that is on point but not fitting of the theme. Nice keyboard work too.
@Mike Free Music : Dope intro! I agree with the placing. At first I wasn't crazy about the kick but then I realized what you were doing with it, that it's doubling as a gunshot (at least that's what I hear). Dope shit.
@Nahshon Beasley : The horns are really good, I think the beat just needs a solid loop throughout. Maybe it's the drum pattern that throws me off though.
@NONONSENSEBEATS : Very laid back, I didn't expect a beat like this for this theme. I do like the keys though, very chill. And then the sine later on, really nice.
@NuNu : I really like this beat. I think there's two things that took away from it though. The horn just sounded out of place. But also even though the beat sounds hard, it just seems like you put tons of sounds into the beat, so in a way it was hard to follow.
@oninkaf : I like the beginning but I expected a hard beat to come in. I think the horns too are great for the theme but the beat should have been much harder.
@S3oulC1ty : This is another beat that hard but not. It's hard but too smooth for the theme. I think all it's missing is the hypeness.
@Spuntastic : If it weren't for the guitar then I don't think it would fit the theme too much, but it did. Then the drum rolls were a nice touch. I would say this was borderline hard/smooth.

I knew this was way to laid back when I entered it. I made this beat half an hour before I entered. I had to enter tho just cause it was my bday beat. So it is what it is lol. Some nice ass beat bya few of y'all tho. A few of y'all hit the theme real nice. Congrats to @Mike Free Music. I thought @d.fusion beat fire tho.
