How would you rate this sample on how easy/hard to work with ? 1 being very hard 10 be very easy.

Wondering how I fare up as I'm still very new to sample flippin'

Personally I found this sample pretty hard. Hence 4 attempts at a decent beat

Well, It's kind of recomforting to read that as I never really took a random sample and chop it before and found it to be challenging indeed. With that said I am listening at the final product and pretty happy with the result no matter where it'll land in the ranking. Another great step in my journey ! Eager to hear yall.

i feel you...i refuse to go fast...i spent the whole day sometimes 2 with mixing...specially drums is always my own...base is always mine...piano and violin...all that on top of a sample if im using one...witch i always chop like crazy as well...
