hey everyone, i just saw in another forum (that was active months ago) that people were saying i didn't make my beat and stole it from someone else. that was an old random song of mine (i made it in 2019), and i removed the vocals from it to upload it as a beat for that competition because only beats were allowed, and i liked that song and i wanted to see how people would judge its beats. that's why i was saying that we should be allowed to upload whole songs, or whatever one wants to upload instead of having criteria. i am a famous producer, on my live stream coming on sites like this for kicks to see if people who judge these are placing me 1st in every beat battle or not. and maybe find talented producers.
There are full song themes, usually 4 minute time limit with vocals allowed.
Look out for them and enter your full songs there.
For the rest of the battles, they're beat battles. People battling beat against beat. Not song against song.
That's fine, if you like a song you made so much and want to enter the beat, then do what you have to do to enter that beat whilst abiding the rules.
But I'd imagine if you're a famous producer, you'd likely have access to;
- your original song so you can export it without vocals
- instrumental version of the song
- plenty of music without vocals
And equally imagine you would have;
- the ability to make a new beat for the battle
- the drive to actually enter as everyone else and battle legitimately
How are you going to enter a full song into a battle with a theme that requires you to flip a provided sample?
If you are a famous producer, that's great - come showcase your skills and ability by taking part in the same way we all do and showing your ability to respond to a brief and requirements. We welcome anyone, especially if it raises the levels of all.
