@DJ Excellence Love this. Pete Rock vibes dude. Super dope! Really well put together. These type of beats rarely win on iLL though.

@K-waz Nice! Feels like mix isn't quite right but not listening on the best speakers. Feels like the sample is drowned out by the drums?

@Joe Sunglasses Don't lose faith or get disheartened! I feel like you don't have an identifiable style. Maybe you're trying to find it? What's your vibe? I have no idea. For me this particular beat was more of a pop dance beat than hip hop. Also @isaacbrighteyes same thing. Beat isn't my vibe but I think it was pretty well put together. This was very much the same vibe as @Earsblower so was direct competition in terms of votes. I dare say you voted for him?

@Leopard Cohen Ooft, those drums are delicious. You can feel them before you hear them. The bass / melody didn't fit as tightly to the drums though. I'd like to hear your rock some different instruments / melodies to those drums - they are dope!

@thekoolkrush This is great! definitely up there for me but I thought the keys were just a little too cheesey. They sounded fine but just like they hadn't been chopped and hip hopped up yet!

Now how the hell did @Delta Skeltah not get up in the winners circle? Loved what you did with this one dude. I'd have been between this and @DJ Excellence. This is Detuned awesomeness.

There's a few people whose records sounded without bass until I listened back on something with low lows - at which point there was a lottt of sub, but inaudible on a lot of playback systems.

Really gorgeous bass, don't let it go missing!

You're right! but I didn't mix my beat at all and I wasn't trying to. I made that beat the day to enter this comp. Its fresh off the brand new super rose bush thorns ruff mix . If you hear my next beat tape it will be monstrous
