Unfortunately it's the lesser of two beats. Had a certi 1st place type beat, but I was waiting on something n kinda got let down by the situation. Would have rocked.

Blues is the root of Rock, Pop etc.

Hard Rock solos can sound bluesy and still fit. IMO.
I am pretty sure the theme is "Hard Rock Guitar", not blues type, country type, folk type, reggae type, pop type or even a regular rock type like Led Zeppelin. This means that it needs a loud guitar, doesn't have to be full on metal, but hard enough you go "Oh, aight, I could bang my head a lil bit right here"... not, "lets sip a pina colada while listening to Jimmy Buffet type music" And votes should reflect that and respect the theme Fade laid out when popping their vote in, wouldn't you agree?

It would only be fair to those who kept to the theme as I would find it easier to make a beat with a softer guitar sound hip hop type beat than that of a harder guitar and those that did not follow the rules, should not be rewarded with a vote and thereby discouraging someone who did follow the rules set forth and put the work in, but that is how I see it and sometimes it doesn't work that way.

You re right. I didnt say anything contrary.

Still, if you listen to some solos and hear those bendings, you can hear the blue notes. The guitar is just distorted.

Btw, before it became Hard Rock it was Bluesrock. Just fyi.
