I was going to check @thekoolkrush just to find out how I had to be good in a fight. Then I saw this fight... Fuck. That's too much! It seems that there is quite a bit of sampling, isn'it? I hope, because this makes me happy. I'm not the type to raise an eyebrow when it comes to sampling.

@2GooD Productions on the other hand was not caught unprepared, and with that wah-wah guitar it seems like fighting on the same ground that captures the sound of the '70s. The vocal sample, if you know how to use it, and @2GooD Productions knows how to do it, plus it's also self-referential, always gives chills. The clav or whatever it is sounds great too. The beat goes straight ahead without variations on the theme, and when the theme is good like in this case, it's really better not to change it.

By natural inclination, I tend to favor newcomers and be more critical of the big names, but honestly, I can't take this lightly, and this beat is no less than the other...

Bruh, fuck you both - I pressed play on @thekoolkrush beat and thought 'instant win' for me, then i was hoping 2G came with a half assed beat so i could say yep easy vote loved Kool Krush, but nah 2G came with anything but a half assed beat,

Sigh. I love both beats I feel I owe the battle a vote. But at the same time I love them equally in similar ways. Completely vibe to both

--- what are people doing in cases you really struggle to decide between a beat??? Wish I could place a vote on both

Mannnn,

This is a fire match-up!

@thekoolkrush - I really love this beat. It's giving a late 90s to early 2000s Roc-a-fella vibe to it. It's got the blaxploitation qualities of a Dame Grease beat which is dope. That cinematic, 70s crime thriller music is so dope. Also a little bit of Just Blaze with the horns and drums. Super dope. I thought the mix was a bit tooo quiet though. It takes away from that big vibrance that the sample has.

@2GooD Productions - also some funk/70s vibe in this one. Nice mix as always. I like how you layer melodic elements. The descending piano/bass chords and guitars staying level creates a dope movement. Glad to see you're getting your scratch practice in. This is dope.
