Damnnnnn....

You both brought some fire!

@DJ Excellence - I really like the drums on this. There's an ambient texture or something that sounds like breathing with the drums that give it this really nice push-and-pull. It's hard to describe...sounds like there's actual air being pushed by the drums. I really like the atmosphere. The dark reverbs, echoes, space of the beat really gives that horror movie vibe. This is a good example of an intricately crafted piece of music sounding simple. Took me a few listens to catch everything because it all flows seamlessly and fits snug.

@Opium Dave - Bass line on this dope. The tone of the bass, where it sits in the mix, and the articulation give the beat a great centre of gravity and weight. I've been trying, repeatedly, to get that paper sizzle snare you have on this. Attention to detail is there as always. The floaty e-piano in the bottom left, and the bright mono-synth lead ripping pentatonic minor in the right.

This is a hard one to vote for. Personally, I prefer the vibe of DJ Excellence's beat more. 2G however brought an emotive piece with great details. It's like debating with a hipster fine arts major what their favourite Picasso is.

Very dope gents!
