I do agree a lot of my music can be a bit too "polite." for the jazzier stuff, I kinda like the "dinner party" qualities of that music...and to be fair...I'm not a jazz musician. So I can see how it ends up with an apathetic, near indifference. Will keep this in mind moving forward. I'd like to really nail down the ideas in my head, and the emotion the piece should evoke.

i mean, all that rant about the forums ending, egos on social media. etc. maybe @Iron Keys was misunderstood (but bro i remember when one guy had only 3 beats that you were asking for his head ) but the statement asking for a resistance against that trend Is nice in general. then please @Iron Keys don't leave It will be a big loss!!!

I'm not leaving the ill - I explicitly said I'm staying to engage in posts and threads, I just said I'm calling a day on 'beatmaking' and it really has little or nothing to do with the battle.

You’ve clarified what you meant, and I don’t think it’s fair to question your good faith. That said, we can all agree that a general “take it easy” reminder certainly can’t hurt...

I said they were "mad odd" because there were a handful of battles for a period where questionably poor beats had ended up placing ahead of high quality beats from more established battlers...

I reported issue to Fade before where I had placed a vote and when I refreshed the page later my vote was on a completely different beat

I also reported a separate issue where the beats on the voting page were wrong - it let me place a vote on "You", but the beat wasn't mine.

As a result after voting I always refresh the page to ensure there's been no bug and my vote is on the correct beat.

Who cares? The competition should just be an excuse to push yourself to do your best, while also listening carefully to other people’s work and helping each other figure out how and where to improve.

it doesn't matter if ur bait is true or not. it's usually double-speak and you'll change the context as soon as you're confronted. "oh I was talking about the OTHER beat". "I didn't even mean it that way". etc.
